Leadership Path
The Leadership Path is designed to help South Dakota professionals grow their leadership capacity in youth-serving programs through reflective activities that build confidence and expand knowledge. Each Leadership Path cohort of OST peers will meet three times face-to-face and four times virtually over the course of six months. Leadership development in a cohort model has been shown to help nurture effective leadership traits, like collaboration, teamwork, empathy, communication, and emotional intelligence.
Why take the Leadership Path?
Youth-serving programs are only as strong as the individuals leading them. That's why it is critical that individuals who are committed to growing with their programs have the opportunity to engage in a journey of conversations with their peers, self-reflection, and planning that helps them hone their leadership skills.
