Sustainable Teams Path

The Sustainable Teams Path is built to help programs recruit, onboard, and retain a committed team with easy-to-use tools and engaging professional development for both beginning and experienced staff. This path will also provide resources to assist in starting a new OST program. People who work in OST programs often have diverse prior work experiences that are not like any other work environment, and it is essential that programs have consistency and stability within their staff. This path supports professional development, recruitment, hiring, and retention

Why take the Sustainable Teams Path?

When out-of-school time programs develop and invest in qualified staff, everyone benefits, but especially the children and youth they serve. A strong team is the foundation for a quality program that is not only sustainable, but able to grow to meet the needs of its families and community.

We are looking for participants for future retreats. At retreats, we want you to bring your best onboarding and professional development strategies and resources. Retreat participants will share and work together to create the "best of the best" for onboarding and professional development for OST programs.
